良い年になりますように

　
　当初の公約通り、3期12年間、東浦町長を務め、昨年8月に退任しました。少し時間に余裕ができて、好きな旅行や登山を楽しんでいます。
　自由に動き回れるのはたぶん長くてあと15年。一市民、一プレイヤーとして、自分のペースでビジネスや地域貢献ができればと思います。

　旧年中は本当にお世話になりました。これまでやってこられたのもひとえに皆さんのご理解とご協力があってこそ。心より感謝申し上げます。
　本年も変わらぬご厚情をどうかよろしくお願いいたします。

As promised in my initial campaign, I served as the mayor of Higashiura Town for three terms over a period of 12 years and retired in August. With a bit of free time now, I am enjoying my favorite travels and mountain hikes.
I probably have around 15 more years to move around as I want. As a citizen and a player, I hope to engage in business and contribute to the community at my own pace.

I greatly appreciate your kind support throughout the past year. It is truly thanks to everyone's understanding and cooperation that I have come this far. I sincerely express my gratitude from the bottom of my heart.
